They're actually attractive on the foot (despite the untraditional style) and SUPER comfy! I wore them in Greece while trekking around Athens and Nafplion, and my feet never hurt. Yes, they're a bit pricey, but knowing that satisfying my own needs for new shoes actually benefits someone else, is pretty awesome. I'm an awesome person, what can I say.
