Kogi Tacos

After hearing about all the hype associated with the Kogi Taco truck in LA, we couldnt help but wonder what a Korean-Mexican taco would taste like: http://kogibbq.com/

We obviously can't hit that up because we're in Philly, buuuuut Burton and I put our creative minds together and made our own Kogi Dinner Extravanganza!

Corn Torillas
Bulgogi*
Guacamole
Salsa
Lettuce and Scallion Salad (with Korean soy sauce dressing)
corn
limes

It was delicious! And we used the new indoor grill that Daniel's mom gifted us for our wedding. Thank you Ajoomah!

Ingredients for Bulgogi:
soy sauce 1/2 cup
sugar 1tablespoon
sesame oil 1 tablespoon
lemon 1/4
onion 1/4 and 1 garlic clove ground up
some ground pepper
marinate everything together with meat overnight and leave in fridge

Salad Dressing:
1 tablespoon soy sauce
0.5 tsp sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
0.5 tsp korean chili flakes
mix all together and toss with lettuce and scallions
sprinkle sesame seeds

email me if you want the guac and salsa recipe (which was missing the cilantro...I couldnt buy it because of the dang snow)
