Wow, I stink

I don't mean literally, although some of you do tease me about my showering practices.  I stink at keeping this blog updated.  Honestly, I still love it and I do not know why it is so difficult for me to post on here.  Perhaps it is because I've run out of fun ideas, have lost interest, or just don't feel like doing it.  I really think that I've posted fewer videos because my new camera records a video file that is incompatible with my main computer and I either have to steal Burton's computer or use my small laptop that doesn't have much processing juice...and I get lazy about it.  In any case, I am sorry guys!

So this post is for all my friends who occasionally follow this blog to see what I'm up to.  This is how our conversation would go if I were to see you or call you on the phone.  Italics are you, and regular font is me.

How are you?  Good good. Cannot complain.
Anything new? Depends, I guess.  How long has it been since we've talked?  Just kidding.  Not much.
Hmm...why don't you list out all the cool things that have happened to you or will happen soon.  Why, what an excellent question.  I love speaking in bullet points.

•  Defending my thesis on the 20th of May.  Soon.
• Had an MD/MPH party last night and got a cool Tiffany's pen as a gift.  Totally undeserved but awesome nonetheless
• Am trying to squeeze in a trip for Burton and myself before starting rotations.
• Rotations start July 5.  Peds, Psych, Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Family, Surgery.  In that order.
• Am nervous but excited about starting third year. Have my awesome Tiffany's pen and Dansko's.  I'm so ready if those two things qualify me as a ready third year student.  Btw, do I need to know anything about hypertension or diabetes?  I kinda forgot the pathophys but I do know that half of Philly's kids are overweight or obese.  
• Will be going to CA at the end of the month to see fam and attend a wedding 
• Burton did this awesome T-shirt sale with Drexel helping Freeset, an organization that frees women in sex slavery.  Placed one hundred orders.  Power of Jesus.
• Am loving the color orange right now.  On the nails.  On the lips.  On the eyes.  Orange fever.  But can't eat them because I have a canker sore and citric acid exacerbates them.  Although I hear they are good for the bowel...
• Love spring temperatures.  Hate spring tree gametes.
• Almost bought Hello Kitty artificial nails today

WOW, I digress.  How did I end up talking about Hello Kitty.  Anyhow, I hope you are all well and I send you many blessings from Philly.
